National Registration Database - NRD

What does it mean?
A Canadian database that allows mutual fund salespeople and investment advisors to file for registration when they are applying for approval by a self regulatory organization (SRO).

In Other Words...
Certain other filings must be made with the NRD. This includes the change in the information of a member firm, or the termination of an investment advisor.
