Cash Flow per Share
What does it mean?
Cash flow from operations minus preferred stock dividends, divided by the number of common shares outstanding. This measures a firm's financial strength.
In Other Words...
This is almost as important as earnings, because if cash flow is poor then the company may have trouble meeting financial obligations.
